Girl, 15, Vanishes After Leaving Freeport Home

A 15-year-old Long Island girl disappeared after walking away from her home, prompting a search by Nassau County Police.

Stacy Florentino was last seen leaving her Freeport residence on foot around 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12. She never returned, and her family reported her missing shortly after 6 p.m., police said.

Florentino is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-3 and 155 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and lavender Crocs.

Police are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact the Nassau County Police Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911.
