Iowa State star Audi Crooks had a “Flu Game” on Wednesday night, putting up monster numbers in a blowout despite being ill.

Crooks, previously dubbed the “Shaquille O’Neal of girls basketball,” threw up during the early stages of a game against Valparaiso on Wednesday night but still scored 43 points, adding seven rebounds and a block on 18-of-23 shooting.

Even more impressive was the fact that she played just 20 minutes as the Cyclones defeated the Crusaders 97-50.

The Des Moines Register reported that Crooks was dealing with a stomach bug but kept it to herself because she expected the team to sit her.

“I’m not going to tell anybody that I’m not feeling good because then they’re not going to play me,” she explained.
