A nationwide company that operates a shuttle service between Santa Fe and the Albuquerque International Sunport will end its local service next weekend.
Groome Transportation has posted a notice on its website announcing it will discontinue its Santa Fe service after Nov. 23. The notice states the company is contacting customers who have reservations after that date to arrange for refunds.
The reason for the shutdown was unclear. Company officials did not respond to The New Mexican ’s request for more information.
The company’s announcement circulated on social media, drawing concerns and disappointment from local residents who lamented the loss of a service they have relied on, the only one of its kind in the city.
