As the Allen football team embarks on the postseason, it’ll do so with one of the area’s stingiest defenses helping lead the way.
The Eagles are coming off a second consecutive 10-0 regular season, running the table thus far and doing so while holding nine of their 10 opponents to 14 points or less. For the season, Allen ranks in the area’s top two among Class 6A programs in total defense (167.6 yards allowed), pass defense (102.7), run defense (64.9) and scoring defense (8.4).
