HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) -A woman was arrested Thursday morning after police say she pointed a gun at people in a Walmart parking lot.

Officers responded to a call around 10 a.m. about a woman cursing at employees and involved in a verbal altercation with occupants of a nearby vehicle, police said.

Witnesses reported the woman, whose name was not released, pointed a gun outside her window and waved it around.

Officers found the vehicle when they arrived and removed the woman without incident.

The woman was charged with disorderly conduct, wanton endangerment and terroristic threatening based on witness statements and surveillance video, police said.
