George Clooney may be a leading man on the big screen, but at home, he works as a team with wife Amal Clooney. The Oscar winner recently shared rare insight into how he and Amal raise their 8-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella.

At the premiere of his movie Jay Kelly on Tuesday, Clooney told E! News that he and his wife do their best to arrange their schedules so one of them is always with the twins. “You try to pace it so that I’m doing it and then she’s home and then she goes and I’m home,” he told the outlet. “We try to mix it up a little bit.”

The Ocean’s 14 star also candidly admitted that he and Amal don’t always get it right. “You’re never gonna get it all right — no one does,” Clooney said, “but you gotta go to work too, so you do the best you can.”
