It’s really happening. What was once a limited series, but then took over the world, has now become a full-fledged three-season TV show. Yes, we’re talking about Shōgun . Shōgun season two (and probably and three) was announced in January 2025 . And then in April, we learned that leads Hiroyuki Sanada and Cosmo Jarvis would return to our screens in Shōgun season two , playing Lord Yoshii Toranaga and English pilot John Blackthorne, respectively. Now, Shōgun has revealed to us when season two will begin production and the new and old cast that will be joining Sanada and Jarvis for the ride. Here’s the latest on Shōgun season two.
