A stretch of the M5 in Devon is currently blocked after another crash this evening (Thursday, November 12).

Drivers are warned of delays on the southbound carriageway of the motorway after a reported crash between junction 29 and 30.

It is thought one car has crashed and ended up across the inside lane of the M5.

The occupants of the car have been seen sat on the embankment off the motorway.

One driver has said: "Car in lane one on M5 southbound between Cullompton and Exeter sat sideways. Occupants waiting on the embankment."

Roads and traffic monitoring site, Inrix, reported the crash at 8.15pm.

It said: "One lane blocked due to accident on M5 Southbound from J28 A373 Honiton Road (Cullompton / Service Area) to J29 A30 Honiton Road (Exeter / Honiton)."
