Thistle’s Summit , the gluten-free and vegan bakery, plans to close its standalone shop by the end of December.

Owner Marti Payseur posted on Instagram that the brick-and-mortar location will close Dec. 24. Still, she will continue offering wholesale, pickup, custom orders and shipping, working from a commercial kitchen she is building in her basement, “a kitchen where I control the means of production entirely without risk of cross contamination, where I can bake comfortably,” she wrote.
