FeedRI, a food assistance nonprofit organization located on Bourne Avenue in East Providence, received a $15,000 check on Saturday, Nov. 8 to help fund their school pantry programs in East Providence and Central Falls.

The donation came during the “Warm-A-Heart Gingerbread” program’s season kick-off event, which drew attendees of all ages from the City of East Providence, St. Mary’s Bayview Academy, Brown University Health, and numerous community members.

For 16 years, the Warm-A-Heart Gingerbread Program has served the Rhode Island community through monetary donations and the annual purchase of essential supplies that support students and families in need.
