MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Madison Police Department is investigating an alleged armed robbery that happened on the city’s east side early Wednesday morning.

The caller told authorities someone told him to get into a vehicle with a few other people, MPD stated. The suspect then drove the vehicle to the intersection of Commercial Avenue and Sprecher Road.

When they arrived, people inside the vehicle allegedly pointed guns and threatened him.

MPD reported the victim’s money and apartment keys were stolen.
