KALAMAZOO, MI — Police have identified the remains of a man found dead at Milham Park.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is investigating after discovering skeletal remains around 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, in a wooded area near Milham Park on the 4200 block of Lovers Lane.
On Thursday, Nov. 13, detectives and crime lab personnel, alongside the Medical Examiner’s Office, conducted a detailed search of the area and found skeletal remains.
The remains are believed to be those of a 62-year-old man who had previously been reported missing by family members in the immediate area, Public Information Officer Zach Hamelton said.
The man’s name will not be released until a positive identification is made and his family has been notified, KDPS said.
