Alicia Silverstone still adores this sweet, plaid-covered Easter egg.

Indeed, the Clueless star reflected on one of her favorite scenes from the 1995 film: the special cameo from her late mom Didi Silverstone .

“In the wedding scene, my mom is in the back. And she died this night six years ago,” Alicia told the crowd during a Q&A at The Jacob Burns Film Center Nov. 12, per @jpasc24 ’s Instagram video. “So, it’s really lovely to have that because I love and miss her. It’s very moving to see that moment.”

She then detailed her close bond with Didi, adding she “was with her when she passed” in 2019. And with her still remembering her mom’s legacy , Alicia’s proud that Didi made a brief yet profound appearance in one of her biggest projects.
