DOWNTOWN — The Kings County Supreme Court Criminal Term on 320 Jay Street held its second annual commemoration of Veterans Day, the afternoon of Nov. 10.
Held in collaboration with the Brooklyn Bar Association, Kings County Criminal Bar Association, Kings County District Attorney’s Office, and the law firm of Aidala, Bertuna and Kamins, the event once again featured Michael Farkas, Esq., as the emcee.
Farkas, a retired U.S. Army Reserve lieutenant colonel and former military judge, kept the program moving nicely with the perfect blend of professionalism and a touch of humor. “Despite popular demand, I am back,” he quipped.
Freedom is not free
Keynote speakers included U.S. Army Reserve Ambassador for New York City Gary Port, Esq., and President of the Brooklyn Bar Association Christina
