A Banaskantha court, in its order granting bail to the uncle of an 18-year-old woman who was allegedly killed by her family members including her father, directed the police to carry out an investigation into the “role” of the complainant, the victim’s live-in partner, in her death.

The Additional Sessions judge in Tharad, Banaskantha, passed the order on November 11 while considering the bail application of Naran Sava Patel, who is accused of helping the main accused in covering up the murder of Chandrika Chaudhary, an MBBS aspirant.
