The New Orleans Police Department released video from a shooting during which an officer fired shots during a standoff at a gas station on Halloween night.

The barricaded suspect was identified as Emmanuel Harris, 54. He was booked on a charge of attempted armed robbery with a firearm following the incident.

According to the NOPD, an officer in the area saw Harris armed with a gun walking toward him.

The officer also saw Harris pointing the weapon at several bystanders before entering the gas station.

Those who witnessed the crime said he locked the door before he was seen waving a gun and pointing it at employees.
