Four charged after Cayce assault investigation uncovers guns and drugs

CAYCE, S.C. — Cayce Police say four people are facing charges after an assault investigation led officers to a home where firearms and drugs were recovered.

According to the department, a victim reported on October 23 that they had been assaulted the previous day in the Riverland Park neighborhood. Detectives later identified several individuals believed to be involved in the attack and also determined that one person, identified as Stephen Allen Rhein, was allegedly armed during the incident.
