VALLEJO, Calif. —

A magnitude 3.6 earthquake struck near Vallejo on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said .

The quake hit at 12:41 p.m. about 2 miles south of Vallejo. It had a depth of 6.1 miles.

USGS' website showed reports of weak to light shaking in parts of the Bay Area.
