Jet's Pizza delivers its noted square pies

A new pizza joint is taking off in Surprise.

Jet’s Pizza is now serving customers in the Surprise City Center at 14462 W. Elm St., Suite 131, after celebrating its official pre-launch ribbon cutting on Oct. 30.

Owner Matt DeYoung helped Mayor Kevin Sartor with the ceremonial opening for the restaurant.

Jet’s Pizza brought in a series of employees to the event as well, including TJ Brown, Shane DeYoung, Eric Johnson and Josh Quick.

The restaurant, which specializes in square pizzas, is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, except Fridays and Saturdays when it stays open an hour later.
