Police Scotland have launched a probe after a woman was deliberately mowed down in Perth. ‌

Emergency crews raced to Quarry Road in the town on Friday, November 7, at around 1.45pm after receiving a report that a woman was intentionally hit by a black Peugeot. ‌

The woman was also taken to hospital as a precaution . ‌

Constable Daniel Berry said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us.

“We’d also ask anyone with dash-cam footage which could assist our enquiries to come forward.”

A Police Scotland spokesperson added: "Officers are appealing for information after a woman was hit by a vehicle in Perth. ‌
