WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Bowling Green Parks and Recreation and Warren County Parks are being recognized for their teamwork and impact on the community.
According to the City of Bowling Green, both groups were honored collectively as Department of the Year in the population category at the Kentucky Recreation and Parks Society Annual Conference.
Warren County Parks director Chris Kummer and Bowling Green Recreation division manager Cameron Levis accepted the award on behalf of both departments.
The teams have worked alongside each other all year long, from events and sports to trails and playgrounds, the city says.
