Longtime Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo retired from the NFL on April 4, 2017. Just a few months later he was announced as the lead color analyst for CBS Sports where he teamed up with legendary broadcaster Jim Nantz.
The pair immediately became fan favorites, with Nantz and Romo receiving acclaim from fans over their first few seasons together. The former star quarterback brought an enthusiasm to the broadcast booth that had been lacking and his "Romostradamus" predictions during the course of play left fans stunned - and intrigued to listen to his broadcasts.
However, over the past few seasons some of that charm appears to have dissipated.
