Police were in pursuit of a stolen car Thursday afternoon on streets west of downtown Los Angeles.

The chase, involving a sedan, was in the Mid-Wilshire area, Koreatown and other communities. Two people briefly got out of the car near downtown LA, then returned and drove off again.
