WOODLAWN, Tenn. (WSMV) - Two people are hospitalized and their pets are missing after a fire consumed a house Wednesday night in Montgomery County.
The fire destroyed a home on Dailey Road in Woodlawn, according to the Montgomery County Fire Service. A Facebook post from the agency reported that a person driving by the blaze saw it and called 911 just before 8 p.m.
The two people that were home at the time of the fire got out safely and were then flown to Vanderbilt Emergency Medical Center, but their three dogs are still missing.
Firefighters were able to put out the flames, but photos of the scene show that the home was completely destroyed in the fire.
Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the blaze.
