Stephen Colbert is eschewing the Ed Sullivan Theater for LA’s Chateau Marmont as The Late Show takes a short break.

The late-night show will skip an original episode this evening as Colbert is co-hosting GQ’s Man Of The Year event this evening alongside Christy star Sydney Sweeney, The Studio’s Seth Rogan, Frankenstein’s Oscar Isaac, pop star SZA, hip hop duo Clipse and Hailey Bieber. The dress code is ‘90s Hollywood Red Carpet.

It means that network late-night is down to only two shows this evening – NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Seth Meyers – after Jimmy Kimmel took the rest of the week off following the death of his friend and bandleader Cleto Escobedo III.
