RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Officials with the Reno Tahoe International Airport say flight delays and cancellations connected to the shutdown will not increase as the federal shutdown has ended.
They say the FAA has frozen flight reduction directives at current levels and federal agencies have begun resuming regular operations, though they warn that it will take time for national air travel to get back to normal.
Airport officials also expressed thanks to Senators Catherine Cortez Masto and Jacky Rosen, as well as Representative Mark Amodei for voting in favor of reopening the government.
