MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Officials arrested two suspects after finding heroin inside a vehicle at a motel on the city’s east side Wednesday night, the Madison Police Department reported.
According to MPD, an officer was watching a vehicle parked at a motel in the 4800 block of Hayes Road.
The officer then went up the vehicle and spoke to a person who was inside.
MPD said the suspect, Cassandra Dalby, provided a false name to the officer. Officials arrested Dalby for obstruction, possession of heroin and a parole violation.
Officers then searched the vehicle and found a small amount of heroin.
MPD later found another person who was connected to the vehicle in a motel room.
Officers learned Kaine Rufus had two warrants and arrested him.
