MONROE, Ohio (WXIX) - A Monroe Local School District video asking students to share positive moments has more than 3 million views on social media.
The concept involved a microphone with a taped sign asking students to share something good that happened to them.
Students stepped up one by one to respond.
“There was a new girl at school today, and I think I made a new friend,” one student said.
Another student shared, “I finally got a girlfriend.”

Superintendent Robert Buskirk said the exercise brought out meaningful responses from students who typically don’t open up easily.
“For these kids to come up and share, some of them were very personal things, but it was all very positive,” Buskirk said. “Kind of tugged at your heartstrings a little bit.”
