Henderson Mayor Michelle Romero took the stage at M Resort Thursday afternoon to tout the city’s wins and reassure residents that recent challenges at the local and federal levels won’t steer the city off course from its priorities.
“While there are some positive national economic indicators, at the local level, we are seeing signs of weakness, instability and slowing growth as a city,” Romero said. “Yet, I want to assure you that we are well positioned to meet our current commitments. Henderson is not just a place to call home. It’s a place of security, stability and strategic vision, no matter the challenges we may face.”
