LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Fayette County Public Schools is creating a new group of stakeholders to begin work on “Project Right Size, Bright Future.”
A program to help in the district’s ongoing efforts to improve financial efficiency and long-term sustainability.
The group, composed largely of members of the 2025 Budget Solutions Work Group, is part of a broader plan to reduce future budget pressures while addressing student population changes that influence school capacity, building costs, facilities upkeep, and the demand for modern, specialized learning environments.
First meetings scheduled
The first meeting is 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, in Room 150 at the John D. Price Administration Building at 450 Park Place.
