LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - The stretch of warm weather will continue right into the weekend as rain remains out of the picture until next week.
Milder nights and warm afternoons are ahead late this week as highs return to near 80 degrees on Friday. There may be a few areas of patchy fog in the morning, though any should dissipate just after sunrise. This will be good for outdoor plans including the high school football playoffs that are beginning.
Not much change is expected over the weekend as upper-level high pressure takes control and keeps the warm and dry pattern going. High temperatures will remain in the low 80’s this weekend and int early next week as well. If you have any outdoor plans, the forecast looks good with the dry weather, but we really could use rain soon with the dry
