GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) — Alachua County School Board vice chair Tina Certain defended her controversial Facebook post about conservative activist Charlie Kirk to state education board members as the district faces continued scrutiny over what the education commissioner calls “a toxic culture.”
The controversy stems from a Facebook comment posted by Certain in September, referring to conservative activist Charlie Kirk as a “31-year-old uneducated white boy who’s been glorified.”
