HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - A Wood River man is in custody following an enticement investigation in Hastings.

The Hastings Police Department arrested 27-year-old Juan Antonio Marroquin Wednesday for enticement by electronic device.

Capt. Jason Haase said the arrest came after police say Marroquin tried to meet up with a person he believed to be a teenager for sexual relations.

Police said he scheduled the meeting with an HPD investigator posing as a 14-year-old. The two communicated via social media, court documents show.

Marroquin was taken into custody when he arrived at the pre-determined meetup location at Lake Hastings.
