HARRISBURG — The end of the federal government shutdown brings about the resumption of SNAP benefit payments in Pennsylvania and beyond, while the adoption of a new state budget brings about new accountability measures for the commonwealth’s administration of the nutrition assistance.
Benefit payments for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, resumed Thursday in Pennsylvania, according to the Department of Human Services.
