MONO COUNTY, California (KOLO) - The Pack Fire has burned around 1,000 acres near Crowley Lake in Mono County.

The fire is burning near U.S. 395 and McGee Creek Road, around 1/4 of a mile away from the lake.

All tankers have been released from the incident due to the weather.

U.S. 395 in that area is closed due to the fire, and evacuations have been issued McGee Creek, Crowley Lake, and Aspen Springs.
