The Hunter Valley bus driver who crashed and killed 10 wedding guests and injured 25 others, has had his appeal dismissed.
Brett Andrew Button rolled the bus he was driving near Greta in June 2023 and was sentenced to 32 years in prison with a 24-year non-parole period.
Button was originally charged with 10 counts of manslaughter, but the charges were downgraded in a plea deal.
He pleaded guilty to dozens of charges relating to dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, driving furiously and causing harm to survivors.
Button appealed against the sentence in October, arguing it was manifestly excessive.
His lawyers told the court the sentencing judge erred in finding the relevant tipping threshold for the bus was 31 kilometres per hour, and in finding Button "drove knowing tha
