TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A Tucson business suffered thousands of dollars in damage when a burglar broke into its building late on Tuesday, Nov. 11.
The Tucson Police Department confirmed Mobility Plus, located at 245 South Plumer Avenue, was hit.
The TPD and the business owner said a mobility scooter/power wheelchair was also taken.
Mobility Plus owner Gary Ross told 13 News that someone broke into the backroom and tried to break through the drywall to get into the showroom.
When that didn’t work, the burglar crawled through the ceiling and kicked out tiles to get into the room.
Ross said the theft and damage will cost more than $10,000.
The TPD said the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information should call 88-CRIME.
