The holiday season is already shining brightly in Alaska, thanks to a major effort from Alaska Airlines and the U.S. Marines. Together, they’ve collected an impressive 14,000 pounds of toys that will be delivered to children across the state as part of this year’s Toys for Tots program.

Your Alaska Link visited the Alaska Air Cargo Hub near Ted Stevens International Airport, where crews were busy loading up the donated gifts. Boxes, bags, and bundles of toys were stacked high—each one destined to make the holidays brighter for a child in need.
