GREENUP COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) - New information has been released after the Greenup County School District announced it will be without a superintendent and a majority of its school board last night.
During a special session at Wednesday night’s Board of Education meeting, the board voted to demote Superintendent Traysea Moresea to an undetermined position in the district.
Three board members also announced their intention to resign: Chair Mary K. McGinnis-Ruark, Co-Chair Lance Warnock and Board Member Sandy Mosser.
Greenup County Board of Education attorney Jim Lyon provided further updates on last night’s announcements.
