ROCHESTER, Minn. - The Catholic Charities Warming Shelter has officially been renamed to the Overnight Shelter. This change comes from the organization wanting to put emphasis on the fact that the shelter is open year round.

The shelter has 54 beds, along with 30 that come from the Expansion site at the Salvation Army, which Catholic Charities rents out. That site is only open from November to March. That is, if there is not enough funding to keep it open longer.

Donations and funds are encouraged. There are programs like Sponsor a Bed , that are used to extend these services and make them better.

The shelter is located at 206 4th Street Southeast in Rochester.
