The jury foreman in Karen Read 's second murder trial shared the most in-depth look yet at what happened in that highly scrutinized jury room.
"During the trial I just was waiting and looking for that 'aha moment' and there was none to make her guilty at all," Charlie LaLoach, who served as juror No. 1 in Read's retrial, said Thursday. "It was like oh, that witness sucked."

Addressing students at Fisher College in Boston, DeLoach said deliberations were respectful and deliberate, the jury spending time weighing all the key evidence.
"I was open-minded, I was willing to listen to both sides, if she hit him or if there is corruption, and the corruption outweighed her hitting him with the car," he said.
