MUSKEGON, Mich. — In a back room at Big Lake Humane Society, a large, friendly "bulldozer" of a dog named Dibbs licked at some of his favorite treats - whipped cream and hot dogs. It was plain to see Dibbs loved it, but what he may not have realized was how his heavenly snack is helping other animals and people during hellish situations.
Big Lake has been experimenting with pet-friendly paints as an enrichment activity for years. And now they're using that activity as a way to raise money for their services, which have been used more these days.
