EXCLUSIVE: Holmes ( Hacks , Overcompensating ) has joined the expanding cast of the comedy feature Trash Mountain . The previously announced talent includes Caleb Hearon, Zooey Deschanel, Jacki Weaver, Kyle Marvin, and Jaboukie Young-White.

The Hearon and Ruby Caster-written film is currently in production in Chicago.

From director Kris Rey (I Used to Go Here) , Trash Mountain follows 27-year-old gay man Gavin (Hearon), who is thriving in Chicago, when the sudden death of his father forces him back to his hometown in rural Missouri. The story takes the audience on an emotional journey as Gavin and his half-sister Abbi (Deschanel) navigate challenging family dynamics and their complicated relationships with the past.
