‘I want that scaffolding down;’ Springfield mayor calls out MGM for lack of action at State & Main

SPRINGFIELD – Renovation and redevelopment is happening all around the corner of State and Main streets. But not at 101 State St. , an office building owned by MGM Springfield but left untouched in the seven years the $980 million casino property‘s been open.

“Unacceptable,” said Springfield Mayor Domenic J. Sarno.
