PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Health officials are now confirming a recent measles exposure in Phoenix and Flagstaff at a hotel, concert venue, and mall is linked to a single case.
According to Coconino County health officials, a person from Mohave County went to all those places last week and tested positive for measles when they got back home.
“It is concerning,” said Joel Bunis, Coconino County outbreak response division manager .
Bunis said the infected patient went to downtown Phoenix on Nov. 5, stayed at a Home2 Suites by Hilton and attended a Tate McRae concert at the Mortgage Matchup Center , where the Phoenix Suns play. The next day, they stopped at the Flagstaff Mall for lunch on the way home.
