The Congress on Thursday alleged that an official lobbying company from Pakistan is working for the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). It has been hired to advocate for the Sangh's interests in US.
Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh wrote on X - A few days ago, Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat admitted that the RSS is not a registered organisation and does not pay any taxes. Now we have come to know that the RSS has hired the American law firm Squire Patton Boggs (SPB) by spending a huge amount of money.
The RSS rejected the Congress's allegation. National Publicity Chief Sunil Ambekar said - The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh works in India and has not hired any lobbying firm in US. It should be noted that a lobbying firm advocates for the interests of an organisation before the government.
