Detectives are continuing their appeal for witnesses and information as part of ongoing investigations into a fatal traffic incident at Stapylton in early hours of Saturday, 25 October.
It will be alleged that around 5am, a 22-year-old woman, 24-year-old man, 3-year-old boy and 1-year-old boy were travelling in a vehicle along Burnside Road when it crashed.
The 3-year-old passenger sustained significant head injuries.
He and the 22-year-old woman were transported by a witness to Beenleigh Police Station, where the boy died.
Around 6.30am, police located the 24-year-old Beenleigh man and 1-year-old boy at a Beenleigh address.
The 1-year-old was taken to hospital for assessment but was later cleared.
Police subsequently launched Operation Xray Grid which has seen officers from the Gold
