LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - A large warm dry airmass is in control of the weather west of the Mississippi River. 70F warmth reached as far north as Medicine Hat, Alberta. This airmass will be in control of our weather perhaps into mid next week. A wave in the upper level wind flow and cold front will cross the Rockies and approach our part of the nation around Wednesday or Thursday. That would be our first slight chance of showers.
