Ariana Grande was confronted by a fan at the premiere of "Wicked: For Good" in Singapore on Thursday. The incident occurred as Grande walked down the yellow carpet, greeting fans. Video footage shows a man jumping over a barrier and running toward her, wrapping his arm around her. Grande appeared startled by the unexpected interaction.

Cynthia Erivo and Michelle Yeoh, Grande's co-stars, quickly intervened. Erivo pushed the man away while Yeoh helped to separate him from Grande as security personnel rushed in. Social media users identified the individual as a social media influencer known as Pyjamamann. He later posted a video of the encounter on his Instagram account, thanking Grande for the moment.

This incident is not the first time Grande has faced alarming behavior from fans. In June, Pyjamamann reportedly rushed the stage during a Katy Perry concert in Sydney, Australia. Grande had previously expressed concern about safety at public events, urging her followers not to wish danger upon her or her co-stars.

Following the incident, Grande continued down the carpet, flanked by Erivo and Yeoh, who provided support. The premiere event was part of the global press tour for "Wicked: For Good," which is set to release in theaters on November 21. The film is the conclusion of director Jon M. Chu's two-part adaptation of the popular Broadway musical.

In addition to the premiere, the film has generated excitement with the announcement of two new original songs, including "The Girl in the Bubble," performed by Grande, and "No Place Like Home," sung by Erivo. The film has already become a top seller for advance tickets, indicating strong interest ahead of its release. The cast's camaraderie has been evident throughout the tour, with Grande and Erivo recently sharing their close friendship and support for one another.
