TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ( WBRC ) - An update on a proposal to deal with crowd control and help to increase safety in Tuscaloosa, especially on game day .
Last weekend, police arrested a man in Temerson Square on several charges ranging from exhibition of speed and DUI.
Now, a city councilor is proposing street closures and barriers for the area.
“We could have had many fatalities,” said Tuscaloosa city council president Kip Tyner.
